Make a real impact on your community.
DataJam is a beginner-friendly data science event where you'll learn practical skills and apply them to real community challenges.
Over four weeks of workshops, CGI data scientists will teach you how to collect, analyze, and visualize data. Then at the hackathon, you'll work in teams to build data-driven solutions that address real challenges facing the Halifax community.
No prior data science experience required. Whether you're studying business, computer science, health sciences, or any other field, DataJam will give you hands-on experience with tools and techniques used in industry.
Two parts: workshops to build your skills, then a hackathon to apply them.
